Image problems?

So, my ride. Well, there is no un-embarrasing way of saying this, is a nissan micra. And, yes, it is driven mostly by old people who should really be at home watching countdown. (I kid, I love old people. Them and their "it was acceptable in my time" views.)

Anyway, Here she is.

Would you see an old person cruising in that beast? Didn't think so.

So after fitting this. I have rid myself of the old person image, but at the cost of gaining another, perhaps less appealing ;) one. Boy Racer. Ouch. But is image really important? I have noticed a lot of pretentious people who have to buy the right clothes, drive the right cars (Im talking about the man who drives a Clio and wears Hollister, Punk. Im coming for you) I like to have a good image and not be judged on my car or clothes. But it happens a lot. Really it does, ever rolled in a micra that roars? People look at you funny. And you know what? I don't care at all. Recently i just figured out why. This car makes me more happy than most other things around. And people can look with detrament, it does not matter, because i drive her for me. Not to please other people over some preconcieved idea of what is a good image. Driving this car makes me happy. And I guess what im saying is, do what makes you happy, while you can. Fuck what people think. Do it for you. :)
Cheesy message over. I leave you with some timeless music. Get in your car, go for a drive. And listen to this. Be safe, this song tends to make me go a bit faster than i probably should ;)
